Bonn/Herzogenaurach, November 23, 2017 - LeanIX, the leading provider of SaaS solutions in Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), looks back at a successful EA Connect Day 2017. The event, which is focused on IT architecture trends, was organized by the Bonn-based startup for the fourth time and once again underlined that it is one of the most renowned EAM events in Europe with 230 guests and participants such as Bosch, SAP, and adidas. During the conference, André Christ, Founder and Co-CEO of LeanIX, drew a positive balance for 2017 and announced innovations for the product version "Pathfinder".
Compared to last year, LeanIX welcomed more than twice as many participants to the EA Connect Day. This makes the event the largest and leading conference in the field of Enterprise Architecture Management in Germany. Once again, high-level speakers were invited to the one-day program. At the adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, the CIO of the host company, Michael Vögele (adidas), Markus Häberle (Robert Bosch) and Peter Boegler (SAP), among others, spoke about current internal IT developments and general IT trends, such as microservices or GDPR.

The IT startup looked back at a very successful year during the conference. The number of customers and team size have doubled over the past 12 months. In addition, they also announced new features and upgrades for the LeanIX product Pathfinder.
“Our goal is to provide our customers with the best customer experience. That's why we are constantly working hard to optimize and extend the features," explains André Christ, Founder and Co-CEO of LeanIX. Specifically, upgrades are planned in the area of search functions and reporting. LeanIX will also create intelligent mechanisms to derive actions for IT management from the information. Furthermore, dashboards can be customized from the end of next month onwards, and automatic recommendations will follow in the first quarter of 2018, enabling intuitive and optimal use of the product. Integration with other tools is also on the SaaS provider's agenda. An integration with the open source solution pivio.io is already available in a beta version and enables the automated documentation of microservices and their dependencies on used technologies. As a member of the ServiceNow Technology Partner Program, LeanIX will offer an interface to the widely used IT Service Management solution in the first quarter. This means that silos are broken down across the various areas of a company and manual data collection is saved. André Christ adds: "The year 2017 was very exciting for us and we have achieved a lot. The upgrades show that we are not resting on our laurels, but are working hard to set new standards in EAM."
