The Business Transformation Journey of Equinor

Equinor is on a journey to net zero emissions through optimizing their oil and gas portfolio, accelerating growth in renewables and pioneering developments in carbon capture and hydrogen. To support the corporate objectives, Equinor has embarked into a vast digital transformation program, NexUs, taking depart in transforming our SAP ECC platform to SAP S/HANA with a RISE project to fully benefit from the SAP Business Suite.

This transformation project is carried out with SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX as program backbone to structure the framework: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run. In doing so, the project caters for clean core success plan: Analyze and optimize business processes, lean enterprise architecture, managing and accelerating testing, adopt changes faster and enable seamless integration.
