Recognized experts in data analytics and B2B marketing added to executive team as LeanIX prepares for accelerated growth in 2018

Boston, MA -  February 27, 2018 - LeanIX, the leading global provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions in Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), today announced two new hires to its leadership team, Michael Hummel as Vice President of Engineering and Simon Barth as Vice President Demand. LeanIX has also added several new members to its advisory board. With the additions of Hummel and Barth on its leadership team, and key additions to its advisory board, LeanIX continues to build upon its strong growth plans for 2018 and beyond.

Michael Hummel, Vice President, Engineering - Stepping into the newly created role as Vice President of Engineering, Hummel will be responsible for the development and operations teams at LeanIX. As a serial entrepreneur, Hummel founded, and held CEO and CTO roles at ParStream, a big data and analytics platform built to handle the massive volumes and high velocity of IoT data, acquired by Cisco in November 2015. Prior to founding ParStream, Hummel co-founded empulse, a portal solutions system integration company in 2008. Most recently, Hummel co-founded aiso-lab, a platform that builds artificial intelligence solutions for enterprises. His expertise in big data, AI technologies, and deep learning, brings significant experience in leading, growing, and scaling companies to LeanIX.

Simon Barth, Vice President, Demand - Previously Head of Inbound Marketing for the company, Barth’s new global role as Vice President, Demand, will focus on enabling automated, highly scalable lead generation processes, ensuring each prospect interaction with LeanIX is an outstanding experience. Prior to joining LeanIX in 2015, Barth was a Senior Management Consultant at DHL Consulting. He also co-founded, a Berlin-based digital company. Both roles have given Barth extensive knowledge and experience in B2B marketing and sales lead generation processes.

“Product innovation and customer experience are mission critical elements to the LeanIX business,” said co-founder and co-CEO André Christ. “Michael and Simon add exceptional experience and talent to LeanIX in these two areas. Michael is a distinguished engineer, whose work in AI, machine learning, and big data, and entrepreneurial achievements make him a perfect match for our team. As one of our earliest hires, Simon has proven to the leadership team time and time again that he has the skills, ambition and attitude to lead our growth efforts. I am proud to call Michael and Simon team members and look forward to working closely with both to take LeanIX to the next level.”

Additionally, LeanIX welcomes four new members to its advisory board. With an incredible breadth and depth of experience in leadership, growth, execution and consultancy at both large organizations and start-up organizations, each adds a unique element to LeanIX’s existing board.
