LeanIX Set For Growth Amid Departure of Co-Founder Jörg Beyer

Company continues to invest in growth, product innovation; 12 months transition phase completed to eliminate impact to customers

BONN, GERMANY/BOSTON, MA – October 31, 2019 - LeanIX, the leading global provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions in Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), today announced its Co-Founder, Jörg Beyer, will leave the company after eight years, effective today, October 31, 2019. Jörg remains committed to ensuring a smooth transition and has worked with the LeanIX executive team to develop a successful succession plan.

To ensure no impact on customers or operations, Beyer began to transition his duties as Co-CEO to fellow Co-Founder and CEO André Christ in November 2018. His additional duties as executive vice president of international sales will be divided among several senior members of the team, including Managing Director Hylton Southey as lead for U.S. and Canada sales, Senior Vice President of Sales EMEA Brian Cornell as interim sales lead in EMEA, and Senior Vice President of Customer Success Christian Richter for global customer success management. HR and legal duties have been handed over to Vice President of Operations, André Burchart.

“Jörg was essential to helping us build a fast-growing software company, and he has left LeanIX in a stronger position than we could have imagined,” said André Christ, CEO and Co-Founder, LeanIX. “This transition has no impact on LeanIX’s business strategy nor our commitment to our customers and partners. We are well-positioned to continue to expand our footprint and remain focused on delivering the kinds of solutions our customers expect from LeanIX. Jörg’s role was invaluable to us over the past eight years, and I wish him an enjoyable period of leisure time with his family and success in his future endeavors.”

During his tenure, Beyer led the creation of the sales and lead-generation teams in Europe and the U.S. and was essential in empowering the company to achieve double-digit growth year over year. In addition to his duties in Germany, Beyer spearheaded the opening of the LeanIX U.S. headquarters, relocating to the U.S. with his family to oversee the venture, bootstrapping operations to ensure a successful market entry. The office now contributes strongly to LeanIX’s total revenue and is continuing to grow rapidly. During his time at the company, LeanIX was recognized as the 10th Fastest Growing Technology Company in Germany on Deloitte’s 2018 Fast 50 List - a testament to his role in the development and oversight of the company’s demand generation, customer success, legal, and HR teams.

LeanIX continues to focus on building a world-class organization as it enters its next growth phase. The company was recently positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Visionaries quadrant of the Gartner Inc. 2019 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools, and has doubled its customer base and achieved more than 100 percent growth globally in 2019 alone.

The company will also be hosting its sixth-annual EA Connect Days Europe 2019 in November, the leading Enterprise Architecture conference. Learn more about EA Connect Days here: www.leanix.net/ea-connect-days-2019.
