LeanIX Recognized as a 2019 Best Employer in Information and Communication Technologies

Honored by the Great Place to Work® Institute for outstanding workplace culture

Bonn / Boston - March 20, 2019 - LeanIX, the leading Software-as-a-Service solutions for Enterprise Architecture (EA) Management, today announced that the company has been selected by the Great Place to Work® Institute, as a winner for “Best Employers in Information and Communication Technologies” in the 10-49 employee category. LeanIX was also recognized as a “Best Employer in North Rhine-Westphalia” and a “Best Small Business Employer.”

LeanIX’s company culture is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and transparency. These core values are ever present throughout the organization. LeanIX’s benefits support employees by recognizing their efforts and showing appreciation for continued contributions. These include flexible work schedules, continuing education initiatives, such as tuition and course reimbursement, and generous time off policies. In addition to standard time off, employees celebrating significant life events, such as marriage or family expansion, receive additional paid time off to spend with loved ones. As a young company, LeanIX’s higher than average retention rates are a testament to its promotion of a healthy work-life balance, with 24 percent of current team members staying with the company for two or more years.

Additionally, LeanIX regularly organizes interdepartmental gatherings, including team off-sites, happy hours, cross-office visits, and community networking events to nurture company-wide relationships and foster momentum through motivation. LeanIX has seen record-setting growth in the last 12 months across its two offices. The company opened its first U.S. office in Boston, Massachusetts in late 2017. Over the past 18 months, the office has grown to 20 team members and welcomed the company’s 100th employee in March 2019.

“Our success is a direct result of the team we’ve built; we truly have some of the brightest, most innovative, and inspiring minds coming to work with us every day,” said André Christ, co-founder and CEO, LeanIX. “We’ve worked hard to cultivate a transparent and supportive work culture, and there’s no better reward than to see our team echo this back. We look forward to attracting, hiring, and developing more brilliant minds. We’ll remain steadfast in our mission to create a transparent, empowering, and collaborative work environment for every employee.”

“This award stands for a workplace culture that is characterized to a high degree by trust, pride, and team spirit,” says Andreas Schubert, managing director of the German Great Place to Work® Institute. “Attractive working conditions and a culture supportive of cooperation are key to economic success and to mastering important tasks for the future.”

Companies with an outstanding corporate culture and particularly attractive working conditions were awarded by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The evaluation was based on a detailed, anonymous employee survey on key workplace issues such as trust in managers, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, health promotion, and work-life balance. In addition, the HR practices and offers were evaluated in a cultural audit and benchmarked among all participating companies. Both the employee survey and culture audit were conducted in Summer 2018.
