LeanIX Wins a Record Eight G2 Leader Awards in Winter 2024

After winning five G2 Leader awards last quarter, LeanIX gains even more momentum as real-world users award the company first place in three additional categories

BONN, Germany and BOSTON, MA, December 19, 2023 – For four successive quarters, LeanIX has won Leader Badges in G2’s seasonal Grid® Reports. In the latest Winter edition, LeanIX has run away with the Application Portfolio Management and Enterprise Architecture Tools categories, winning a total of eight awards. Real-world users ranked LeanIX number one in seven sections.

For the Enterprise Architecture Tools category:

  • Overall Grid Report
  • Enterprise Grid Report
  • Momentum Grid Report
  • Relationship Index

For the Application Portfolio Management category:

  • Enterprise Grid Report
  • Momentum Grid Report
  • Relationship Index

This is the fourth G2 seasonal software award in a row where LeanIX has won four or more categories. In the previous Fall Grid® Report, LeanIX ranked first place in Enterprise Architecture Tools, Relationship Index for Application Portfolio Management, Momentum for Enterprise Architecture Tools, and Momentum for Application Portfolio Management.

In addition to winning these four categories again, LeanIX won first place in three new categories: Enterprise Architecture Tools, Enterprise Grid Report; Enterprise Architecture Tools, Relationship Index; and Application Portfolio Management, Enterprise Grid Report.

This recognition comes on the heels of last quarter’s Spring Grid® Report, which named LeanIX a leader in four categories: Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, Momentum for Application Portfolio Management, and Relationship Index for Application Portfolio Management.

LeanIX further extends its lead in G2's Enterprise Architecture Grid.

As the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, G2 is visited by 80 million software buyers each year. Badges are awarded quarterly, and a company must receive at least 50 approved and published reviews in order to be eligible. G2 Badges represent the trust only authentic peer reviews provide. G2’s real-world users continue to rate LeanIX as the global industry leader in enabling continuous transformation of corporate and product IT.

Enterprises around the world use LeanIX to visualize, plan, and manage their increasingly complex IT landscapes, including all applications and SaaS subscriptions. LeanIX’s automated, data-driven approach allows companies to map their “as-is” enterprise architecture, connecting applications to the business capabilities they support, while also designing their idea “to-be” future state. The insights provided by LeanIX empower organizations to make informed decisions regarding technology investments and support large-scale transformation projects, including cloud migrations and ERP transformations.

Momentum for Enterprise Architecture Tools and Momentum for Application Portfolio Management – A product’s Momentum score is calculated by a proprietary G2 algorithm that factors in social, web, employee, and review data.

This last year has been monumental for LeanIX. First and foremost, the company was acquired by SAP in November. With the acquisition, LeanIX will become part of SAP's comprehensive transformation suite to help customers navigate change more easily and permanently improve their business processes. Over the last two years, LeanIX has doubled its customer base to over 1000, opened new offices, and expanded its team to over 500 employees worldwide.

LeanIX earned its recognition based on customer reviews such as these on the G2 platform:

“[LeanIX EAM] a simple but powerful all-in-one tool for managing the application landscape…[It] has solved a lot of our problems in the areas of capturing and distributing information about our application landscape to the wider business. This removes a lot of manual burden to document such information, freeing up my time for more value-add tasks."

"The ability to quickly establish dashboards and portals for specific user groups, as well as the overall ease of use, have enabled us to scale our architecture practice. Only 10% of our user base is on the architecture team."

"LeanIX EAM is solving a number of problem spaces for us. Some of these are: 1) Having a system of record for current & future state IP; 2) Visibility into our business capabilities for technology planning; 3) Visibly of change to our environment; and 4) Having a system of record for key metrics in our environment."
